Namangan: An Emerging Destination for Mountain Tourism and Unforgettable Adventures

This year, Namangan Region welcomed tourists from Germany, Italy, Australia, the United States and Russia who are passionate about mountain tourism, hiking and camping.

International visitors were deeply impressed by Namangan’s snow-capped peaks, glacial lakes, picturesque waterfalls, remarkable natural landscapes and the sincere hospitality of local communities. Organized journeys along mountain routes gave them an opportunity to discover some of the region’s lesser-known natural treasures.

These trips offered more than active recreation. They allowed visitors to experience the atmosphere of Namangan, explore its largely untouched landscapes, learn about the traditional lifestyle of mountain communities and discover new tourism destinations in Uzbekistan.

Most importantly, this is only the beginning. Namangan Region has enormous potential to develop mountain and adventure tourism at an international level. Its diverse terrain, impressive mountain scenery, refreshing highland climate, natural lakes and waterfalls provide excellent conditions for hiking, camping, ecotourism and other outdoor activities.

Plans for the future include developing new tourism routes, establishing eco-trails, creating dedicated hiking and camping areas and expanding the range of adventure tourism experiences. Particular attention will also be given to visitor safety, service quality and the international promotion of the region’s natural attractions.

By using this potential effectively, Namangan aims to welcome travellers from many more countries, encourage longer stays and introduce the region’s hidden natural wonders to a wider global audience.
