DOMESTIC TOURISM PROMOTED DURING THE NAVBAHOR–NASAF MATCH

A series of promotional activities highlighting the tourism potential of Namangan Region and its domestic travel opportunities was organised as part of the Uzbekistan Super League match between Navbahor and Nasaf football clubs.
During the match, supporters were introduced to the region’s tourist attractions, historical and cultural heritage sites, pilgrimage destinations, mountain recreation areas, and opportunities for ecotourism and gastronomic tourism. Visitors also received information about available tourism routes and services across Namangan Region.
The large audience attending the sporting event provided an effective platform for presenting Namangan’s tourism appeal to the wider public. Particular attention was given to encouraging supporters arriving from other regions of Uzbekistan to discover the area’s tourist destinations.
It is worth noting that the match attracted 19,540 spectators, setting a new attendance record for the current Uzbekistan Super League season.
